Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
Agreement
By accessing or using FlipX (the website, API, and optional RuneLite plugin), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What FlipX is
FlipX is an unofficial third-party tool for Old School RuneScape Grand Exchange flipping and merchanting. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jagex Limited. "RuneScape", "Old School RuneScape", and related marks are trademarks of Jagex.
FlipX provides informational estimates, rankings, and optional sync of GE offer data you choose to share. It does not execute trades in-game, guarantee profits, or provide financial advice.
Accounts
You may sign up with email or supported OAuth providers (such as Google or Discord). You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping credentials and device API keys secure. You must provide accurate contact information where required for billing or support.
You must be old enough to use online services and enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction. Paid subscriptions may require you to meet additional requirements imposed by our payment processor.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans (Pro, Ultra, Elite) are billed through Stripe according to the prices shown on Pricing. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
- You can manage or cancel billing from Settings when signed in, subject to Stripe and plan rules.
- Promotional trials and referral grants are offered at our discretion and may change or end.
- Refunds are handled according to applicable law and our billing policies; contact support for billing disputes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use FlipX to violate Jagex's rules, applicable law, or third-party terms.
- Attempt to break, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law.
- Share account access, resell the service, or misrepresent affiliation with FlipX or Jagex.
- Upload malware, abuse APIs, or use the plugin or API keys in ways that harm other users or infrastructure.
The RuneLite plugin is display and sync guidance only — it must not automate in-game actions or interact with the game client beyond what RuneLite and Jagex allow.
Market data and disclaimers
Prices and volumes come from third-party sources (including the OSRS Wiki Real-Time Prices API). Data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Displayed margins, scores, and planner output are estimates — not promises of fills, prices, or profit.
You use FlipX at your own risk. We are not liable for in-game losses, missed trades, account actions by Jagex, or decisions you make based on the tool.
Intellectual property
FlipX branding, software, and site content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service for personal merchanting purposes. Game assets and names remain property of their respective owners.
Termination
You may stop using FlipX at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that should survive (disclaimers, limitations of liability) remain in effect after termination.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlipX and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you have not paid us, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum allowed by law.
Changes
We may update these terms or the service from time to time. We will post the revised terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law.
